Call for papers: GIS for Conservation Project

call for papers:  GIS for Conservation Project

This summer, conservationists will meet at the annual Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) conference at the renowned Asilomar Conference Center in Monterey, California. This important meeting is for managers, researchers, experts, and students to share ideas about using GIS to further their conservation efforts. We know you have experience. That is why we are asking you to participate by presenting a paper. Share your expertise about a project, methodology, or model.

Tell us about the GIS technology you are using such as story maps, web apps, remote sensing, graphic design, cartography, and high-quality data.

We will consider all abstracts but will give preference to those most relevant to the conference theme: Climate Change and the Future of Water

The abstract submission deadline is February 29, 2016.
